Benefits associated with Internet marketing include the availability of information as consumers can access and learn about products and purchase them, at any hour, any day. Companies that use Internet marketing can also save money because of a reduced need for a sales force. Compared to traditional media, such as print, radio and TV, Internet marketing can have a

relatively low cost of entry. Since exposure, response and overall efficiency of Internet media is easy to track, through web analytics for instance, compared to traditional “offline” media, Internet marketing offers a greater sense of accountability for advertisers.

Forgetting what you have been told in the past regarding downline building, take a look at a few of the mega super stars of internet business. Does Google, YouTube, or Myspace require downline building to be successful? Sites like Myspace and Facebook both need pools of users. There is a need for networks of friends on places like Myspace and Squidoo from a marketing perspective, but it is not necessary for them to build a downline.

Do you think the skill of building a downline is necessary to become successful? It is a safe bet that if you have been on any Guru’s list they have most likely spewed the praises of downline building, even requiring you to

become a member of one of their own.

Forget the Computer Age or the Internet Age, centuries from
now our current time will probably be referred to as the
Google Age. This assumption is not exactly a great leap
of faith; Google has quickly permeated into mainstream
culture to become an underlying factor of everyday life,
a tightly woven backdrop to our lives.

But never make the mistake of trying to define Google
as just a search engine or you will miss the true calling
of this little “Backrub”, which was the original name used
by its founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1996.

Setting your internet marketing goals is crucial to your success as long as you follow through your goals with ACTIONS! Please understand that setting goals and reaching them are two different activities. They are NOT mutually exclusive! If you don’t follow through your PLAN or GOAL with ACTION, you might as well not setting any goal in the first place. Remember that only action can move you closer to your DREAMS. Nothing will ever happen until you take action. And only those who take action with a solid goal will succeed!

This is probably one of the toughest things to decide when you’re getting into Internet marketing. Do you go for a really huge niche as far as potential prospects, while at the same time bumping heads with more sites than you can count, or do you go for a smaller niche that might not produce as much income on a regular basis, but will be easier to crack? Well, as somebody who does both, I am going to share with you my own experiences and you can then decide on your own.

The actual niche of Internet marketing, or making money online is huge. It also has a ton of competition. Still, in the five years that I have

been in this niche, I have managed to make a very nice income. I don’t make the kind of money like a John Reese or a Mike Filsaime, but I do well enough. I’m certainly not starving. So how do I do it? How do I go up against these giants and so many others and make a six figure income?
